We will work together to create a personalized plan for your healing journey, incorporating various mindfulness practices and self-care techniques to help you become the best version of yourself.

My name is LaKetia Baker and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, teacher, speaker, and ordained minister with over 15 years of experience working with people who are ready to embark on their healing journey. I possess a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Southern California, a Master of Divinity and a Masters of Arts in Christian Education from the Samuel DeWitt Proctor School of Theology at Virginia Union University. I am also a proud United States Army Veteran.

I am the owner and host of PH Balance, a relationship podcast which can be found on Apple podcasts, Spotify and other major podcast platform, a contributing author for the book “She Found Love in a Hopeless Place: An Anthology of Spiritual Journeys”, and I enjoy working out and spending time with family and friends.

Driven by a passion to empower others, I seek to provide services for individuals, couples and families creating opportunities for clients to engage in critical discussions that cultivates healing, change and the development or enhancement of healthy and sustainable relationships.

MEET MY TEAM

  • Dr. Trevaughn Davis-Neal earned her Bachelor of Social Work degree from Governors State University and a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Illinois @ Chicago’s Jane Addams College of Social Work, where she also received certification in Evidence-Based Mental Health Practice with Children and Adolescents. In 2015, Trevaughn graduated from Indiana’s Department of Child Services and Indiana University's Child Welfare Innovations Management program and was recognized as a leader in child welfare in the state of Indiana. A graduate of Indiana University and Purdue University’s Nonprofit Executive Leadership program, Trevaughn received her doctorate degree from Tulane University’s School of Social Work.

    With over 12 years of experience as a psychotherapist, clinical supervisor and professor, Trevaughn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), licensed in both Indiana and Illinois. In addition to being CEO of Nzinga Mind and Heart, a mental and behavioral health practice, she is also an adjunct professor and Subject Matter Expert on trauma for National Louis University. Honored as one of the most influential women in Northwest Indiana by Mom to Mom magazine, Trevaughn was featured in their March 2017 issue. In July 2017, Trevaughn was recognized as “A Professional to Watch” by NW Indiana Times’ IN Business magazine. Additionally, she was the recipient of the 2017 “Rising Star” Alumnae Award from the University of Illinois @ Chicago’s Jane Addams College of Social Work for her tireless dedication and commitment to helping others heal.

    Trevaughn is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority Inc., ACES Social Work Sorority Inc. and volunteers as an advisory board member for several non-profit organizations. Trevaughn enjoys traveling, reading and listening to music in her free time.

  • Hey there! I am Georgette G. Nelson, RN, BSN, CNPE. I have 11 years of nursing experience in a variety of settings such as Long Term Care, skilled nursing facilities, pediatric home health and New Parent Support home visitor.

    I am a member of the Childbirth and Postpartum Professional Association (CAPPA), and I am certified New Parent Educator.

    It is my goal to offer medical, administrative and educational services to families that will help to mitigate the stress and uncertainty of bringing home a newborn, caring for a child/children with special needs and provide parenting support.

    I am a trained postpartum mood and anxiety disorder provider through Postpartum Support Virginia.

    I am also an approved educator for the Virginia Court approved Co-Parenting, using the Two Parents, Two Homes Co-Parenting Curriculum.

  • Hello! My name is De’Andra Oliver. I am a CSAC supervisee and Qualified Mental Health Professional for Adults (QMHP-A). I have been working in the mental health field for over 15 years. I obtained my Bachelor of Science degree from Liberty University and my Masters of Science in Mental Health Counseling from Longwood University.

    I have extensive experience working with incarcerated offenders, sex offenders, children, adolescents, adults, and military families. I am certified in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. I am an Active Parenting facilitator and I am an approved educator through the Virginia Court to educate parents using the Two Parents, Two Homes Co-Parenting curriculum. I also facilitate a Smart Recovery group for individuals suffering from any addictive behavior.
